So, I've done some more to the painting I've been doing today.
Since my last post I've put some details in, like doors, shutters and windows. I used burnt umber for most of it, but the burnt umber I was using was in an old set of acrylic paints I have that a guy that used to come to church gave me. I wanted to use it to finish it off. But it was awful! It was cloggy and gritty and it didn't give an even colour, so eventually I decided just to scrap it and use a burnt umber that I got in one of my paint sets from The Works.
So, when I unscrewed the lid of this burnt umber I found it wouldn't come out! It was all clogged up in the top. But I was going to try my hardest to get some out of it. So I got a cocktail stick that I'd been using and I poked it in the top of the tube to try to unclog it. Eventually I managed to get some of the paint to squeeze out of it, and it was just enough for what I needed to do.
I did some of the doors and some windows, then I did the window frames at the back with the burnt umber. Then I turned the painting upside down to do the wavy roof tiles up the top left roof. I had to concentrate very much and if I made a mistake or I got the paint too runny I dabbed it with a piece of kitchen towel and started again. I also did the slats on the roof above the door in the centre and the plant pot infront and to the side of that same door.
I used an orangey/yellow colour for the wall on the right. Then I made a runny blue colour and added a bit of white and violet to it to do the bottom of the wall at the bottom right and the shadows on the road. I also did the shadow at the bottom of the archway.
I made a bluey/green colour for the foliage over on the left above the blank space. The blank space will eventually become pink blossom.
But now I've decided to leave the rest till next week.
Have you been doing anything interesting today?
I hope you are all well.
Have a great night.

Oh, wow. I'd like to see your drawing. Do you have a picture?
I like them too, and I hope to improve on them.
Thank you very much. You're the second person who has mentioned the perspective!

@sharonelton I have to take pictures of my drawings, I never do.
I do not see comments about the perspective here... may be in another post.

I hope you enjoyed your day, even if it was just spent doing cleaning and laundry. Today I wore myself out going shopping!
