We had our second Sunday of Advent, and also had a special guest.
The son of one of the former pastors is raising support so that he and his family can go to Africa as short term missionaries. I went to college with his mom and dad. My daughter went to school with his sisters.
As he goes about visiting area churches from our denomination he will also get to visit my brother in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
We will have a small Christmas program next week, so we worked on that as well.
Of course there was a lovely luncheon. I am still full.
I learned that the pastor's grandson is allergic to cinnamon. We warned him. That also means no apple pie or pumpkin pie for him.
I have a little more to do online, then it is off to bed for me. I am fighting a cold or something and did not sleep well last night.
It has been nice to visit with you folks for a little bit, too.

I have never heard of anyone being allergic to cinnamon so that is good to know if he is served anything, I hope the week goes well for you, We got lower temps again so I put the heater on again,

I knew a person that was allergic to cinnamon. He is only the second one I have heard of.

I'm sorry you're not feeling well. Thank you for bringing us up to date. Cinnamon is one of my favorite things. I would hate to be allergic to it! Have a good week and feel better!

Cinnamon is something I can take it or leave it. Thar wouldn’t be the worst allergy but any allergies are an annoyance I think and of course some can be more then just an annoyance and can be deadly.
I’m sorry you didn’t sleep well. I didn’t either. I hope you get more sleep tonight and feel better tomorrow.
