Not going shopping today.

I'm not going shopping today because of two reasons:-
1). The weather.
It's really dull outside, and it has been raining. If it's not raining now, I'm sure it will again soon.
2). That time of the month.
I'm not feeling up to it really because of the time of month. It sometimes gives me brain fog!
So instead I'm going to stay comfortably warm inside, doing MyLot and watching telly! My Mum said she'll go early this afternoon and post some Christmas cards at the same time.
I still haven't finished my painting from last week. That will hopefully be finished on Thursday. But yesterday I did another initial drawing for the next acrylic painting. This one is of a small boat on a beach. So I don't know when that one will get done.
Someone is supposed to be coming sometime today to sort out the phones. So there is a possibility that he will switch the internet off while he's doing the work.
Anyway, what are you lot getting up to today? Anything exciting planned?

We also got rain today. It is best when you feel that way to stay in and relax and stay warm. Winter is hard enough to get through unless you like winter. I do not like it. I am a spring and summer person but lately winter has gone on to summer and we have not had spring in quite some time. I did my cooking for our Sabbath and am now washing clothes and waiting for the time to fly to feed my cat and myself and will light Hannuka candles later on. I hope what they have to do with the phones will not take long and you will not be without internet for long. Take care of yourself.

I am glad he called but not glad he did not come the original time and I hope he comes the day you want him to come. Yes, my cat enjoys all her food now that she eats. She was very sick for a while and would not eat so now she loves to eat again. The food had to get done so glad it is done for now. I wanted to do more but did not and no room to put more. Do you have your dog still or do you have a cat now? Cats are great and dogs are too. I miss my dog that passed away a long time ago but we have no room for a dog and I believe my cat would not like one either. I am glad we both prefer spring and summer to winter. How are you feeling now?

I'm glad your cat is feeling better and is eating again
We had a dog when I was little, but not anymore. I had a cat too but she lived at my Grandma Brown's house. We've also had goldfish and budgies but we don't have any pets anymore.

I feel the same way as you. I like to stay in when it's rainy and dull, and keep nice and warm. I also prefer the spring and summer months. Fortunately it looks much brighter today for us to go to the big Tesco.
I hope you enjoyed cooking for your Sabbath, and I'm glad you managed to wash some clothes. I hope your cat enjoyed his food. I love cats.
The guy who was going to come and sort out the phones didn't come. He said he'd come either Tuesday or Friday, so lets hope he comes on Friday!

@sharonelton - I wrap and put in the freezer what expires before Christmas. There are a lot of things we can freeze for later.

We really need to get everything we need for Christmas day too, but the use by dates are always wrong! For example I got some vegan pigs in blankets (called sausages in duvets!) last week and the use by date on it was 13 Dec! I'll have to get some more nearer the time with a good date on it. My Mum also hasn't got any turkey yet or whatever she's going to get and I haven't got my salmon steaks.

Yes, that's what I thought too! So my Mum went out to the little Tesco instead and got caught in the rain! 
I hope you did all the housework that you needed to do and I hope you enjoyed your lunch whatever it was. Did you have the ramen noodle soup?

A guy was supposed to come and fix our landline today. Didn't turn up! We've been without a landline now for a couple of weeks. I hope no-one was trying to phone us about something important!

@sharonelton I did find a good cookery book that I had not heard of before, then I came home and started a discussion about it on myLot.
Today I went to the library to change my books. I was waiting in the queue to speak to the librarian when I over heard her and another lady talking about food....

I went to the supermarket today and bought some pork and two big apples. Haha, because the supermarket is only 10 minutes away from my house, I always buy very little food and come back.The 10 minutes here are walking

Yes, that's like me with the little Tesco, I know what you mean.
I don't know when my Mum will go to the little Tesco now, as it's come over really dark and miserable and I wouldn't be surprised if it's raining. I know it has because I heard it, and it's rained again since I made this post.

We had to go out yesterday because weather changes and we had a blown lightbulb, so we needed to get a replacement. Today we are definitely staying in, much too cold to go gallivanting outside! Hope you get some time to paint.

We try to keep a stock of lightbulbs in incase one goes.
I hope you enjoy your day staying in. We have to go to the big Tesco again today.
