It's Been A Hard Few Days

I dislike this time of year so much. All I want to do is hibernate until late April or May. I had the Do Not Disturb on on my phone today so I missed the alarm to make sure my daughter was ready for her appointment to get her monthly shot. We called and rescheduled but I felt so bad. The kids need to become more responsible and we will work on that. Plus we got a letter from housing on Saturday that sent my anxiety up, up and away. I worried and fretted wondering why they were 'reaching out to us" My insecure mind always goes to the worst possible scenario. I emailed and left a phone message. So, finally, on Tuesday we got a call back and all she wanted was to ask if we knew of any odd things going on in the complex. I guess they have had some reports of theft. And, she also wanted to update their information because the number they have wasn't working. She read off the number they had for us and it was one number off. Someone had transcribed it incorrectly. And, I have been awakened every day this week so far with pounding going on next door. The tenants moved out and maintenance is doing some reconditioning over there. Ugh! So I am grumpy.
