The haystack star at night

There is a private aerodrome not far from here and they serve meals three days a week. We went there tonight for a meal and really enjoyed it. On our way home we turned off at the place where there is a star sitting on top of some hay bales. My last discussion was about it.
We were surprised to find the star lit up when we came home. I guess there is a small solar panel storing up energy through the day then lighting up the star at night. However it is lit, it looks very lovely.

We and a couple of other families decorated a tree at the side of the road once. We did it at night when there was virtually no traffic and we never told anyone who did it. It was the talk of the small town as no-one could work out who did it.

That is lovely. There's an asphalt company near here that always puts a star on top of a piece of equipment at Christmas.

In the dark, it seems to sit up there in the sky.

This is the best photo but the car headlights are on it. If you are just driving past, it seems suspended in space.
