Good morning from a cloudy, rainy, dismal day in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Temps are falling today after getting to a high of 53 F (11 C) yesterday. The clouds won't clear out, but the rain will. We'll also get to 39 F (3 C) today. They're predicting flurries for New Year's Eve.
Happy Boxing Day to all those celebrating that day.
Today will be busier than yesterday. I have a chiropractic appointment for 9:30 this morning. This afternoon is the Secret Santa reveal at 1:30. My son is picking me up for Christmas dinner at 4. I also need to make the sides: mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and sweet potato pie.
I already put Missy out and fed her. I told her daddy I won't be here. Though at the time, I thought it would be an earlier celebration.
Now, I need a way to keep the pounds down today. I know it won't be easy. My son's girlfriend is making prime rib and ribs for dinner today. Together with the sides and the cake, it will be a lot of food.
If I have time, I want to work on a book. I have three of them pulled up so I can access them easily. We'll see what happens.

Why? There's nothing in my life to be anxious about. I need to keep busy. I don't want to give myself an excuse to become lazy and fat. Being busy keeps my mind strong and helps me lose weight. The most important thing in my life that keeps me from being anxious is: God's got this.

Yes, it's Tuesday, isn't it? Hard to keep track at this time of year. And it's Boxing Day, but I'm not going out to any of the sales (if there are any anymore). And the Centre is closed until the 9th, so I'm not going there for while, either. Guess I'll just stay in my jammies...
