Hello! Got home from my appointment a bit ago--it's 5:40 p.m. by my computer clock. It's getting dark, so I decided to wait on getting the mail until I go for a morning walk tomorrow. My appointment went okay...my "doctor" (technically, she's a nurse practitioner) asked if I'd made an appointment with someone, and I completely forgot whether I had done so or not, so she had the info printed out and I'll call them tomorrow. She also suggested carrying a notepad around or something so that I could write down this stuff (knowing me, I'd lose it). I'll try to get ahold of the lady she wants me to get ahold of again tomorrow. While I was waiting for the bus I listened to some phone messages, one of them being from the lady from the elder care place saying how I couldn't work for them because I bombed the physical...but I already figured that out. She said to call if I had any questions, but I don't. I made a couple of small potatoes in the microwave for dinner Hope that all is going well with you in your part of myLot land!

My primary care is a nurse practitioner too. I want to say he’s the most caring doctor I’ve ever had (he’s the one that prayed with me), but like you said, they aren’t doctors. It feels weird to use their first name or say Mr. or Ms. so and so.

I do not think I would have passed that physical either. I can not lift heavy things .

They wanted me to be able to lift 60 pounds. I could barely lift 40.

@xstitcher I used to be able to lift 60 pounds when I worked and unloaded totes but not anymore.

I enjoyed my day working at home completing surveys as well as sharing good news stories on this site.
