I have let myself down,

I slept really poorly last night, and have not done all those things I was going to do today. I did make some pancake batter for breakfasts this week. I did some other things as well, but I did not do the major stuff I had planned on. Bitty and Bruno have stayed in today. I do not like trying to convince her to come in. I am going to clean the entry way, as I am sure it smells of the plumber and she looks downright terrified. I need to get up early to get the trash to the curb. I can do that. Hubby and I worked together to put another smoked salmon quiche in the oven, and that feels good. Tomorrow I will be hearing from the case manager from Kansas Behavior Services. They would like me to begin right away working with a client in Newton after school. For awhile I will be working two jobs, and working six days a week, but it will be worth it to us in the long run. Bob has an appointment on January 3. I go back to work at school January 4. The plumber will be back again January 5th or 6th to finish things he did not have the parts for. I will tell him that we have spent our plumbing budget for now if he can just get the fasteners replaced so that the bathroom sink is secure and the kitchen sink does not leak. It is a new year, and I need to do new things.

You managed to still get a lot of things done today. I hope that working 2 jobs won't wear you out too much.

It is just for a short run, so I should be fine. I did more when I was younger. . . but we all know I am not young now. The mental challenge is good for me, though,.

I wouldn't be so hard on yourself. We aren't always going to do as well as we hope or think. I know I didn't do as great.

Mostly I need mental energy. The way I understand, and what I have seen, this job is physically much easier than working at school.

Happy New Year!! My cats were scared most of the day yesterday because of shooters shooting. I washed some clothes and worked on my best-friend's diamond painting.
