We left here right after I got off work to go find a restaurant to eat at. It is Bob's actual birthday.
We wanted to go someplace out of our ordinary pattern.
He was given directions to one place, but it was closed. Instead we went to Charlie's Diner at the truck stop.
He had a chicken fried steak, and I had a chopped steak. Neither of us could finish our meal.
My chopped steak was wrapped in bacon and topped with fried onions and mushrooms. It was very good.
We both have enough food to have for lunch tomorrow. We went early, and I am glad we did. They are expecting snow tonight, and have treated t he roads with brine to help make them safe.
Iam going to bed.

Birthday blessings to Bob. I would enjoy either of those dishes. I think some of the best food can be found at diner's rather than chain restaurants.
We're expecting freezing rain/snow tomorrow night into Saturday. I'd like to see some snow, freezing rain no thank you.
