When You Hit Rock Bottom

I heard a saying tonight that really grabbed me, it said "Rock bottom is a great foundation on which to rebuild." I take it to mean that if we hit the lowest point in our lives, it's not the end of our journey, we can only go upwards from there. I write this in the hopes that it impacts someone for the better, that it inspires them not to give up. Thanks for reading.

I have been there a few times & your right you CAN only go up from there, & I have. We have been in debt for YRS & lived paycheck to pay check & NOW after 30 yrs we've FINALLY gotten on top. Where now we don't have to live that way anymore, we're not rich but we do have enough food on hand to last awhile & we DO have our bills paid 6 mons in advance, & that's something I've tried for 30 yrs of our marriage to drill in my husbands head & NOW we're HERE.

I hit rock bottom around 1988. Little did I know what God had in store for me. Once I acknowledged I was a rock bottom, He moved in my life and I haven't been the say since.
