I Am a Bad Son

I forgot that it was my mom's 2nd year death anniversary today, not until my sister sent a message this afternoon. I felt like a bad son for forgetting it. I have been so busy with so many things lately. Before this posted discussion, I lit a candle and offered a prayer for her next to our door outside. It has been our practice to do this when remembering our loved ones in heaven.
Did you ever experience this situation before?

It happens. I often don't remember the exact day my parents passed.

Even when I was still alive, she knows how busy my life is. Life becomes busier and busier right after finishing university. That makes me think that some people are right in claiming to miss their childhood years. For the reason that a child does not need to worry about a lot of things.
