I Am a Bad Son

I forgot that it was my mom's 2nd year death anniversary today, not until my sister sent a message this afternoon. I felt like a bad son for forgetting it. I have been so busy with so many things lately. Before this posted discussion, I lit a candle and offered a prayer for her next to our door outside. It has been our practice to do this when remembering our loved ones in heaven. Did you ever experience this situation before?

I also thought about this alibi. I know for sure that she is still guiding me every day. It is how she used to be before.

It makes me feel less guilty with your kind words. Being busy with something is a positive one. I have been beavering lately, but I felt so productive. My mom will understand it.

You are right. She can understand the situation. When she was still alive, she knew how busy I was every day.

It happens. I often don't remember the exact day my parents passed.

I must say that I am not also good at memorizing numbers, exact dates, and the like. I hope I would not forget next year.

You are lucky that they are still alive and kicking. I would be glad if my biological parents were still here.

Even when I was still alive, she knows how busy my life is. Life becomes busier and busier right after finishing university. That makes me think that some people are right in claiming to miss their childhood years. For the reason that a child does not need to worry about a lot of things.

My parents are still alive but both of them are susceptible to disease and I have to take care of both of them.

I am glad that they are still alive. I guess you need to cherish all the time with them while they are still alive. I did when my biological parents were.
