Not Bad to Turned Down a Job Offer

Do not get me wrong about this. I have my personal reason why I turned down a teaching job in front of our house, which is a Korean school. A human resources representative texted me that they wanted to hire me as their teacher for Korean students. To cut it short, I cannot accommodate them anymore since I am working for two online tutorial companies. Besides, I may not have enough time to do other things in my life. I cannot afford to be working offline at this school during the daytime. If I do, it is a suicidal thing to accept the job.   What are your thoughts about it? Image Credit: resumeassassin.com

If you feel you cannot do your best at the job on offer or if it impacts your life balance, then it is better to turn it down

I had thought a couple of times about this, and finally, I decided to take it. It will surely imbalance my life if I accept it.

You are right. This job is not for me to accept. It will make my life upside down if it happens.

You did the right thing. We had a saying years ago. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Life is more than work.

I agree with this phrase. There are other factors, but the bottom line is that I cannot be an effective teacher for them.

You said it right. I was trying to explain to this guy about my current situation, but he still insisting. I politely turned it down.

If you feel more comfortable keeping your online job you took the right decision.

I thought that working offline is a good opportunity. But then, I would still prefer to work in a flexible way.

It is better to turn a job down rather than take on too much. Some people are greedy and only think of the money, but then they do not do the job properly, they try to do too much and everybody suffers.

Having three jobs will not be so productive for me.. I might not give my all if working so hard on them.

Money not enough? Location is good, but you have your reasons.

If you are happy with your current employment, that is ok, but I might have still checked it out a bit more, as it might have offered more than your online jobs. Still, it is nice to be chased for jobs like that, but in the end, the decision is up to you. I would not like to run myself thin, working too many jobs either.

I think it is not the right time to work offline, but I am open to this idea. I used to work at this kind of school before. I felt like a graduate doing this job now.

@innertalks I do have a good one here. It is a stable internet connection that I need to maximize.

@Shavkat Working online certainly has its benefits, provided that you have a good internet connection.
