The Blackhawks

As some of you know I’m a big fan of the Chicago Blackhawks and I have talked about before they are in the rebuilding of the team for like 10 years now.
I also have mentioned that they have this young kid on the team that they say he is a once in a generation type player. He has been having a great season and was voted to the all-star team as a rookie and the youngest player in history to be voted into the All-star game.
A few nights ago, he was injured and will be out for 6-8 weeks they believe. They haven’t said if he will play in the all-star game, but I would guess not since the game is in 3 weeks.
That is sad if he is going to miss it. Get in it in his first year in the league and he is going to miss it due to an injury.
Even with that the Blackhawks are still not doing well as a team. They are dead last in their division with a 12-27 record. It is just hard to watch the games knowing they are most likely going to lose. Maybe next year.

It's been a long time since I last watched a hockey game. As a kid, my Dad took my brother and I to Flyers games and we loved it.
Hope the player heals. Hate he'll miss the all star game. Hopefully he'll have a great career and have more chances to be voted onto the team.
