Well that was a wasted day...

Woke up this morning with pain in my chest. Thought it was probably nothing, but that I should call 911 just in case.
So, off to the Emergency room again. I had pain in my chest, shoulder, lower back, and at one point my right bicep.
Well after getting blood drawn and x-rayed and eating baby aspirin and getting something sprayed in my mouth (the last two things on the ambulance as I was going to the emergency room) that I was told would probably give me a headache--and it did--I was finally sent home. I managed to text a friend about what was happening while I was in the emergency room, and when I got home a neighbor said she'd seen me leave with the "first responders" (her words) and was I okay.
On the way home I stopped at Safeway for a money order and when I got back to the apartment complex, dropped it in a mail slot at the office, and now I'm home. Guess I'll wait until tomorrow to get today's mail.
My phone has "binged" a couple of times since I've been sitting here, but soon after I got home and read the message from my neighbor, I saw that the battery was nearly dead and I plugged it in. It's only 3:17 right now, so I'll check my phone again in an hour or so.
So, today was pretty much a waste. On the way home from the hospital, I stopped at the bank and got my Debit card "unlocked" (it was locked due to my putting a wrong PIN in the last time I tried to use it or something), then went to Safeway to get the money order, then dropped off the money order, then came home!
At least I remembered to grab a puzzle book to throw in the bag I took with me before the ambulance came. This time I wasn't bored out of my mind while waiting in the emergency room.
So, that was my day. Now, I need to figure out what to have for dinner--it's only 3:27 p.m., but I haven't eaten all day.

@xstitcher That’s very scary. I hope it isn’t something you’re going to have to deal with for a long time.

@AmbiePam Actually the way I see it, "God works everything for good." He hasn't let me down yet.
