Wednesday Morning Brief

Good morning from a still bitterly cold Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA where the temp when I got up was -5 with -25 windchill. When I went to start my car to leave for the chiropractor, it was -21 and my car wouldn't start.
So, plans for today changed slightly. I called the chiropractor and canceled my appointment and rescheduled for next week. Temps will be in the 30s.
I thought about going to rock painting, but decided to wait until next week for that too.
That leaves notifications and working on my book. I just finished reading through what I have on Guns of War. I've started work on the notifications. I will start writing again to finish the book today.
With the community room closed to all activities, there isn't prayer tonight either. So, it will be another lonesome day. I didn't say lonely, but lonesome. As I'll be alone all day with you and the characters in my book for company. I won't be lonely.

Darn that is really cold! It was cold this morning, but definitely not in the negatives. Now we are up to 32 degrees. Sorry you had to reschedule for next week.

Wow, honestly with temps like that I am surprised the chiropractors office is even open. IF we had that kind of weather you can be certain everything and I mean everything...with the possible exception of Dollar General...greedy company would be open. I meant everything would be.closed except for Dollar General.

I know exactly how you feel when you say lonesome but not lonely.
We have sunshine here today but it isn't warm enough to melt any of the snow that fell yesterday. That soft fluffy snow now is crunchy from the drop in temperatures.

I'm glad you knew what I meant.
I love the sound of crunching snow under my feet. What's not good is the ice under my feet.
