My appointment was made in error

I had a dental cleaning appointment on January 19th. The week before I think it was I got a voicemail on my cell that my appointment was made in error. The office is closed on that day. I had the option to come in on the day the voicemail was left as a spot opened up.
I called the office but no one picked up. When I called again a short time after I was told that the open spot is no longer available so I had to reschedule. I wonder if that happened because I didn’t really want to go that day.
Since I wanted to go after 2pm the earliest available date was March 20th. That’s a two month wait. Granted my January appointment was about four months after the last cleaning instead of six months so it’s okay. On the other hand, I’d rather get it over with instead of waiting that long to have my teeth cleaned.

I know how that is. Good to get it over with.

@lovebuglena ......I have a phobia and WON'T go. I have only five teeth because I quit going due to the treatment I've received from dentists.

@celticeagle just sitting in that chair makes me anxious, even when nothing is being done to me yet. And I can’t stand the sound of those instruments they use.

The weather "should" be better in March.

When I go for a cleaning they have us schedule our next one before we leave. That’s good I think otherwise I’d probably procrastinate with making an appointment.

I've had to reschedule from time to time and the space between cleanings gets longer and longer.

I prefer every six months but since I had not cleaned my teeth in years when I finally went to the dentist the hygienist told me for now every 3-4 months.

@lovebuglena I make the appointment for six months but sometimes I have to cancel. I rarely put it off more than a week or two.

I had to cancel my teeth cleaning appointment and had to wait 6 MONTHS until I could get another. That means it will be a year in March since I had my teeth cleaned. Not happy about that. Have a good day.

It doesnt matter when to go for dental cleaning, most important is go early in morning when the office is open, the dentist is still alert and willing to do a good cleaning job
