Mrs Melancholy.

The moon’s sitting all shy and exposed above my house tonight in a cloudless sky. She’s bathing everything in soft light - trees, fields and me - and I stood a while on the porch listening for the last time to the sound of the Church bells drifting up the valley. And so the melancholy fit begins to fall. The moment of departure looms large and I remember how good it is that we carry ‘home’ around with us, that geography cannot cancel who we our. But I’m not dying (so far as I know), just moving house some 20 miles.

Yes, we have a full one tonight. Church bells just add to it.
