Aspergers Syndrome, otherwise known as high-functioning autism, is very recently becoming a hot topic because so many people are finding out in their adulthood that they are on the autism spectrum. The reason this is happening is because of many factors, but especially that not much was known about the autism spectrum 40+ years ago. This is happening in my family right now. A mixed emotional situation where puzzle pieces are falling into place, yet it shakes you up inside as well. Learning about masking, meltdowns, and more right now. Has this happened in your family?
