Some artists wear their political views on their sleeve,so to speak, like Shepard Fairey. Others are not interested in politics at all, and still others can just be incredibly hard to figure out as to where they lean politically.
Some people don't care about the political leanings of artists, they just love or hate their work.
What are your thoughts regarding artists and politics? Are you deeply invested in knowing where they stand,or do you not really have that much interest,or are you somewhere in the middle on the subject?

Most of the time, bad politicians show their real color of moral depravity and self-destructive motives. Only the discerning and wise will see it in the Light of Truth, and will avoid to have anything to do with these kind of people in politics.

Of course, everyone is entitled to their opinions, but artists in my view tend to take themselves way to seriously when it comes to topics like politics or social issues. Sometimes a celebrity can put their foot in their mouth with a stupid opinion. Best to stick with the job your good at, rather than show your lack of understanding on a topic.

I think that for me, I am not interested in a person of any ilk, displaying their political affiliation.

It depends. If an artist is supporting something like Scientology or extreme issues, I won't necessarily not enjoy his/her art or performance; but I won't think as highly of them.
