Day 11 – Tyranny Genesis 10:6 The sons of Ham were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan. 7 The sons of Cush were Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabtechah; and the sons of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan. 8 Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth. 9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; therefore, it is said, “Like Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.” 10 The beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. God’s name: Jehovah – Self-existent, Eternal Elohiym – Mighty God Yeshuwa – Messiah God’s character: Warrior, Conqueror As sin started in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve, tyranny began with the son of Ham, Noah’s son. Cush bore Nimrod, a mighty hunter in the earth. You could compare Nimrod to any of the terrorists throughout history. He rebelled against the LORD (Jehovah) and founded many cities, among which was Babel. He caused the people to turn from the LORD (Jehovah), formed other religions, and hunted people, warring against them. He was the first worst terrorist, but not the last. Satan has been at war with God’s (Elohiym’s) people from the beginning. He tried unsuccessfully to destroy God’s (Elohiym’s) chosen people until Jesus (Yeshuwa) was born. Since His death and resurrection, and the birth of Christianity, Satan has been at war with Jews and Christians to root them out and destroy them. It is a war that will continue until the Tribulation when he sets up his kingdom in Babylon and attempt to destroy God’s (Elohiym’s) chosen people and all those who accepted Yeshuwa as their Savior and Lord. His final battle will take place on the plain of Megiddo when God (Elohiym) will sentence him and send him to the lake of fire and brimstone. Revelation 18:1 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! 3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.” 4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.” 20 “Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!” 21 Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence the great city Babylon will be thrown down, and will not be found anymore. 22 The sound of harpists, musicians, flutists, and trumpeters will not be heard in you anymore. No craftsman of any craft will be found in you anymore, and the sound of a millstone will not be heard in you anymore. 23 The light of a lamp will not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride will not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived. 24 In her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.” Revelation 19:19 And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. 20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. (NKJV) As Babylon had a beginning, it will also have an end. Everything Nimrod began at Babel, God (Elohiym) will destroy. Until then, you must stand firm in your faith, with your armor on, resisting him and every temptation he brings against you. James 4:7 Therefore, submit to God (Elohiym). Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God (Elohiym), that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, take up the whole armor of God (Elohiym), that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Satan will continue to send Nimrod against you to terrorize you and try to turn you from God (Elohiym). When you stand in God’s (Elohiym’s) armor, he doesn’t stand a chance. He must flee. Let’s pray: Father, thank you for keeping me safe from the Nimrod’s in my life. Help me to put on my armor daily so I can fight him with the Word of God and by the blood of the Lamb. In Jesus’ (Yeshuwa’s) name, I pray. Amen. Copyright © 29 January 2024 by Valerie Routhieaux The image belongs to me.

I thought that Babylon was an ancient city which no longer exists today. Only ruins of it exist in Iraq, so this prophecy must have already happened. I guess that God's people, didn't become his chosen race until the time of Abraham, when Judaism began. Before that, his people included all of mankind, as descended from Noah, and his sons, but some of these sons started bad races. Perhaps then, God, wanted to then work intimately with only the one people, the Jews.

@just4him As we all come from Adam, though, we must be all chosen people then. The first Jew, is said to be Abraham. "In Jewish tradition, Abraham is called Avraham Avinu, "our father Abraham," signifying that he is both the biological progenitor of the Jews, and the father of Judaism, the first Jew." Wikipedia. Mathew seems to start with Abraham too, in Mathew, chapter 1. This is the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Abraham: Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, etc. Luke does go all the way back to Adam, though.
