Sunday Update

I know I usually do this with the morning brief. I forgot it this morning.
Yesterday was a good day. Church was good with another sermon on grace. A friend also asked me to help on the prayer team yesterday.
I decided to watch Christian movies yesterday, so the first movie on the top of the stack was The Passion of Christ. It's a hard one to watch, but it's a wonderful movie.
My friend picked me up to go to the viewing yesterday for the woman who passed away in the building last week. Her husband was happy to see us. He's known my friend for a long time.
On the way home I asked if she could take me to Festival since it's on the way. I needed bananas. Of course, I did. 
I found a couple of bunches of nice yellow bananas. I also got a bag of apples and a half gallon of milk. She got eggs and milk.
When I got home, I finished watching an episode of Lois and Clark, had a sandwich, and went to bed.

Sounds like a nice and wonderful Sunday.
Prayers and Church soothe us.
Your faith and prayers seen to calm you.
I am also trying though I had a few complaints to God a few months back.
At times, my relationship with God is like a friend with whom we can also share our complaints!
It is good that you got Bananas and other stuff.
Did you had to go to a very far distance?
It was a cold and mostly Sunless day yesterday.
The sun did shine but with low intensity.
I went for a few errands and a few grocery buys.
Saturday was better with good sunshine.

God knows how we feel. Our complaints aren't a surprise to Him. He's a good friend that way. He listens and understands us when no one else does.
Thank you. Yes, church and prayer do make a huge difference in my life. I always feel better when I go to church. Likewise, I feel like I've touched heaven when I pray.
The viewing was half an hour away. The store was minutes from home. So, it was an easy in and out on the way home.
I'm sorry it was cold and sunless yesterday. I'm glad Saturday was better. It's good you could get your errands done and get a few groceries.

Glad you had a good Sunday and were able to get to the store for your bananas.
We had a nasty Sunday with lots of rain but it never turned into the snow that was in the forecast. All our snow is gone

You're happy and I'm sad. I wish the weather would get with the program. It's winter. Winter means snow. Oh well. It is what it is. I'm not going to complain. It wouldn't do any good.

Sounds like a blessed day you had. My Sunday was very enjoyable. After church I met my best friend for a movie and lunch, which was a real encouragement. Then, my dad came over to my apartment to see me and watch one of our favorite teams (Chiefs) beat the Ravens.

Sounds like a nice day. I did some rearranging of TV apps and decided to delete one I don't use much anymore. That will save me $10 a month. Every little bit helps.

Our Sunday was warm, slow and boring. Very boring. Not that I'm complaining. We have a busy week with in-home therapies.

I'm glad you had a good day, except for the viewing of course. I'm sorry about that. Weekends are always very quiet for us. Yesterday our housekeeper came for only an hour. I worked on the taxes a little bit and watched Lost. Have a good day.
