Here is the first of today's paintings, work in progress I did an underpainting on some of the areas first in yellow ochre. Then I left that to dry and put out the new flowers that we got from the big Tesco yesterday. I had a banana and a packet of mini cheddars for my lunch, and I took it to the table with me and I ate it there. I ate my banana, and then I painted under the arch with brunt umber while I was eating my mini cheddars. I also painted the other areas that needed burnt umber. I left that to dry and got myself a cup of camomile tea. I drunk my tea as I was putting in some thicker areas of yellow ochre, like on the post on the right, and the top of the large arch on the left. While that was drying I washed up, brought the bin round and put the recycle out. Then I painted the darker areas under the arch on the left. Then I painted the spindles on the balcony. I turned my painting upside down so I could get to them better. Then I painted in the main floor area with watered down yellow ochre and white. I also used combinations of this colour for the stairs, and the plant pots on the left. Now I'm waiting for those areas to dry. I will do a bit more to it before dinner, and maybe some more after dinner, but I do want to do have a go at the other painting too. I hope you are all having a nice day. See you later.
