After 4 hours plus some minutes of being on hold, I finally had my interview. I am going to get Cal Fresh again, unfortunately not as much $$ every month as I did the last time I had it, but it will still help! I can supplement things with the Food Bank, too--just not when it's pouring down in rain. 
With the EBT (Food Stamp) card, I can get things that the Food Bank doesn't give.
I still have the card that I used last time I had "Food Stamps", so the lady I spoke to said I could use that card. 
Right now, I need to head out and get a money order for my rent, and then I'll drop it off and go and get the mail.
I hear water in the downspout, but it looks like that downpour we had earlier is taking a break. I'll go out, do what I need to do and come back.
