This was Sunday, we had church of course.
We missed last week and I did not know that pastor and her husband were feeding us today. We are not a large group, and it is different each time. They just decided to do this in January. The first Sunday of every month they will fix a meal and we will sit and visit.
Today we had a potato buffet. They prepared huge baked potatoes in the roaster. We had butter, sour cream, shredded cheese, chili, and finely chopped bell peppers and onions to top the potatoes or eat on the side with a salad.
We had our pineapple chicken tonight, served over rice. Bob was still kind of full. I love that I have food fixed for a day or two. It makes the work week easier.

A baked potato with toppings sounds yummy. So does your pineapple chicken. Have a good day.

I can imagine it does. Tomorrow George has a doctor's appointment. It's hard to believe he's been home from the hospital and rehab a month tomorrow.

That's great you had a buffet at church after the service. It's a good way to bring people together.
It's good you have meals ready for a few days.

It's always handy to have something in the fridge that you can just haul out and eat.
