Better Than the Original?

This is one of those covers I have shared in multiple forums through the years, and there's one thing I always get as a response to it.
"Your version is better than the original version."
Which of course, is a complement. It is me on guitar. It is my voice. I programmed the drums for it.
These covers I do are not karaoke. I put them together entirely from start to finish.
Either way, making music and doing covers is something I thoroughly enjoy, regardless of the response I get from any of it. It's just a hobby I have a lot of fun with and it is always interesting to hear people's comments when I do them.
I don't know. Better than the original? What is your opinion? This was recorded in 2006. Wow, 17 years ago?

@porwest I took some college kids on a picnic at a lake once. When the one young man would play his guitar two ducks would come be in the audience.

@porwest funny about music, When I play my favorites on YouTube there are some songs the cats seem to prefer and with others they head for the hills

@moffittjc Not sure. If you can look it up, it might be worth it. Not sure if that style of music is your speed, but hey...you never know.

I thought when you said covers your were talking about the image on the page which you might not even have put there.
I'm leaving shortly to wash windows at a few businesses, but when I return I'll check out your link.
