Is it Possible to Make People Younger?

This is the question Dr. Greg Fahy, Ph.D asked. I have been trying to contact the devil and even put out some feelers for a vampire but no answers back yet. You folks who know me should know that I have been questioning death and am not really sure how I feel about the prospect. I think this doctor has the right idea and found his work interesting. Not everyone ages at the same pace. There is a definite distinction between biological age and chronological age. There needs to be a better way to gauge a person's age. There have long been beliefs about the "elixir of life" but no one has come upon one yet. Then along came Dr. Fahy. He felt that it all starts with the rejuvenation of the immune system. This seems to be the real pacemaker in the realm of aging. The doctor feels it is no coincidence that we all start to die when our immune system is no longer at full capacity. So, if the immune system can be restored to a youthful state we should be able to reverse aging. In 2015 he began a study in collaboration with researchers at Stanford University. They selected 9 men between the age of 51-65 and for one year they were given an experimental injection 4 nights a week for one year. The injection included 4 common drugs including the growth hormone. Almost immediately the men began to feel energized, their mental capacity improved, felt stronger, and they began losing weight. One man who had started out with completely white hair found his hair was darkening. In 2019 the results were published in 'Aging Cell'. The participant's blood had several enhancements. Essentially all of them were protected from the "diseases of aging" like hardening of the arteries and heart disease. One of the participants, Paul Hynek, claimed he is young again. Paul had been able to regrow a body part that degrades with age. The thymus gland. This is one of the components of aging. As a person grows older this gland is replaced with fat normally which leads to other aging processes within the body. His biological age had decreased also. So, what do we take away from this? Do we all want to track down Dr. Fahy and get the recipe that was in the injection? I do. I think that he and the other researchers are on to something and we may be hearing more good things in years to come.

It sounds kind of interesting. But, not sure it's something I'd do. George might benifit from it, though.

@celticeagle Though I just had a conversation with the antiqualation clinic about moving forward with blood thinning medicine. And, he's just like.... um... all kinds of confused.... He was happy to have me talk on his behalf.

But the results were for 9 men... His experiment would have to be conducted on a larger number of people, including women, to have any validity. Mind you, I wouldn't mind reversing some aspects of aging...

That is my question. It's probably expensive too.

It's interesting. I wish my husband could benefit from this. He's 7 years older than I am; and I don't want him to go first.

Maybe some of the growth hormone would help.
