Shortest power outage ever.

Good morning.
To be transparent, we do have solar pannals, and they do provide power to our home. Even in the event of a grid failure. Now, I had forgotten that last week I'd set up an appoitment to have a part fixed on our solar pannals. So, despite being also connected to the grid, our power was out for about half an hour. At first I worried how this would affect my work flow, but it didn't. By the time I was ready to sit down, the wi-fi was back. So here I am. With repairs complete, I can get stuff done I planned today.

Yes, they came. And, the power was out because it was being repaired. And, yes, and no. We are paying off the pannals in monthly instalments. Once it's paid off, it won't cost a dime. upgrades and repairs are part of the deal so no extra out-of-pocket cost.

@RebeccasFarm Yeah. I had no idea anything was wrong, honestly. Knowing there are people out there monitoring the system really helps me out.

Me, too. I'm more thankful we had the weather for it. Otherwise I would've been hella pissed.

Me, too. It was done early enough in the day, and I don't need power to give meds or feeds.

We have a standby generator that goes on when the power goes out. I'm glad I persuaded hubby to have that installed. I'm glad your power wasn't off long. Have a good afternoon.

Me, too. I had laundry to do today. Had it gotten late, I wouldn't have wanted to do it. It all worked out.

I hate it when there are power outages at times. Ours usually come from bad storms like tornadoes or really high winds once in a while. The power lines where I live are all underground, but many that lead in and out of our grid area that are out in the country, are not underground, and are susceptible to the storms and winds. I am glad you have solar, that is nice!

Yep. And, we wouldn't have had an outage at all, if we weren't having work done on the hardwear of the system. So, it's a win-win.

Having solar panels is something I wish I had. Glad that the repair didn't interrupt your work and interfere with your day.

Me, too. I was delayed in making my 'breakfast' but I powered through.
