A Victimless Crime

Part of Trump's defense in the New York civil case was the fact that no one got hurt when he fudged on his loan applications and lied about the amount some of his holdings were really worth. It was a victimless crime. In this one instance the Putz is right. But, it is a crime nonetheless. Why? Because of a thing called ethics. Also, good business. It is the difference between right and wrong. The definition of ethics is as follows: moral principles that govern a person's behavior or the conducting of an activity. My thoughts go in so many directions on this. If people have no ethics, or morals or care nothing for how they run their lives then society soon goes down the tube.

Many things are considered victimless crimes. But people still get punished for them

The problem here is he doesn't think he's done anything wrong. It's not like he just made a mistake.

"No one got hurt"? What about the loan providers?

They will have to compensate for this. The bank will take the loss.

TRump only cares about himself and how much money he can make. He is a ME person.
