After a lunch break, time to get back to work.

George's nurse came by. We may see her one more time for a formal discharge from home health. George is doing well, and I just have to get him the green light to drive again. Next step, should we decide to take it, is outpatient therapy. So, we're happy about that. I can always call them twenty-four/seven if I need help or a problem. So far I've done okay on my own and they agree I'm doing a good job as a caregiver.
I took a break from the computer while the nurse was here and shortly after in order to get some lunch and put something on t.v. I have to complete one more servey today, if I wwant the 5 dollar bonus at the end of the week. I think it'll be worth it. Who knows, I might get a payout or two in-between. Whatever the case, I'll take it. I can use the money.
I'll also beat and make my goal here with time to spare. I've really been grinding, and working real hard. What's better, George's started asking about my earnings. More normal behavior.
Chilly has been fed and is quiet.

You are doing well. Here, the OT has to evaluate the patient for ability to drive. We did that when Bob had the stroke.

Everyone tells us we need to talk to his doctor about it. I don't know if it's a Florida thing or a VA thing. I just know each state makes its own rules on.... everything. Might I ask how long ago did Bob have his stroke? And, does he drive now?

Glad to hear the improvement is continuing. Best of luck to you with earnings, I have also been doing better this year and even managed to save a bit in my checking account instead of going down to zero as usual and I am happy about that,

It's wonderful to hear he is progressing so well. I know caregiving can be hard, you're doing great. I know George probably wants to drive again soon, too.

So glad George is doing so well.
I am at the halfway point on my survey app. Only $2.50 to go.

I'm so happy to hear that George is making such good progress. Outpatient therapy sounds like it would be good.
You certainly are a great caregiver.

Yeah. We don't want to wait to long, but at the same time we want to give him time to start driving again. It'll make it easier if he can drive.

Oh I will. Nine days to make it and 47 cents to go (as of this posting). If I have another day like the last several, I'll nail it in no time. And, as award as it is I can type on my laptop anywhere. Only when I'm in a chair it has to literally be on my lap.
