Hey, hope your day is well. Well, my nap went well but still have a headache so that’s not so good. I forgot to share with you something I am looking forward to this Sunday. Not only are the Chicago Blackhawks playing the Detroit Redwings but before the game Chris Chelios will have his Jersey retired by the team. Chris played for the Chicago Blackhawks from 1990 - 1999 as a defenseman. He became one of my favorite players of all time. Not to mention he was born and raised in the Chicago area. I had two chances to meet him, once back in the 90’s while he played for the Blackhawks, where I met him through a friend. Then a few years back I went to the NHL draft when it was held in Chicago and got on the list for a meet and greet with him. Not only was he a great player that had a 20+ year career but he’s a good person. Congratulations Chris for getting your jersey retired.
