People here decorate their homes really nice for Halloween but not for Christmas. That just seems a little strange to me. Cats only meow at humans not to each other. So we should know what they are saying. Did you know that cats have free-floating clavicle bones which allow them to squeeze into small spaces. Their clavicle bones are not attached to the rest of the Skeleton. I found that very interesting when I read it. Cats like what they like and a cat will go hungry before it will eat something that they do not like. So you have to switch food to please your cat. The wild cat which is a Bobcat They come out at night so you will not see them roaming around unless you are up late at night. They can survive in the cold and in the heat.

I think that most who decorate for Halloween also decorate for Christmas..but I haven't really taken note of it. It is just my feeling. I know I do for both..probably about the same for each. Not as many decorate for Easter though.

Here, last year it seemed like people went all out for both . . . maybe to catch up from pandemic times. Interesting about cats!

@jstory07 Out here, the Halloween folks also seem to get into Christmas decorating too. I wonder why they are not doing up Christmas out there?

Cats do hiss and growl at other cats though. My spooky would do that every time a neighbor's outdoor cat came to visit our porch. She was not sociable with other felines, lol. So true cat facts there. My cat would not continue to eat the same cat food every day. We did have to switch things up.

Well I know that cats communicate with each other. I have an example here. I had posted a photo of Freddie with his paws and claws extended eager about the birds flying by. A couple of days later he was sitting at the window again along with his sister Tish. He nudged her and the next thing I know she took the same position as her brother with paws and claws against the window, He taught her it was better that way. Sort of like a warning to birds who land on the roof

The free-floating bones does explain how cats can get through such small spaces.
