Energy, itself, is always neutral in what it does

Behind every sin committed is an energy that could have been used to do something good, rather than sinning. The act is sinful then, but not the energy being used in committing it, which is just misdirected energy.
Reaching past sin, requires God to lift you past it, as mired in sin, you cannot extricate yourself from its clutches on your own.
You need an input of energy to lift you out of sin, so your own energy can then work for you, not against you, lovingly, not unlovingly.
Sin is a trap that traps us, and then it encourages us to direct our energy in doing what it wants us to do.
There is no such thing as negative, or positive energy, as all energy is neutral, but it is the negativity directing it into a negative, sinful act, or a positive, loving act, that makes the difference of how our experiences affect our lives, building good in us, or allowing for what is bad to be done instead.
So, we are either painted with the blackness of sin, by the brush of sin being used by us, or we are painted by the brush of God instead, and so we become snowy white in light then instead.
We allow God to use us for good, rather than we using ourselves for bad, which is always our own decision, and never God's decision for our lives, when we do so.
Link your energy to what is good then, and do not let your energy ever be used for bad.
They say that it takes more energy to do bad, and negative stuff, in your life, but this is relative, as doing bad encourages you to do more bad, but when you do good, positive things, the hope inspired by this, also increases your energy to keep doing these good, and positive things, then too.

The energy of lightning is just what it is, but the effect of what it does can be either good, or bad, but the energy is the same energy.
So, lightning might start a fire, which is bad, but it rebalances the electrical balance in the atmosphere, which is good.

Yes, energy remains inactive, or dormant in us, if we do not switch its light switch on.
But, more than that, light turned on is usually good, but if we direct a bright light onto someone to harm them, by shining it into their eyes, for example, we are misusing energy.
We have the choice how we use energy, for good uses, or for bad.
Love is always a good use of our energy, using love to love someone, and hating someone is a misuse of our energy, directing our energy at them in a non-loving way. This would be an example of emotional energy.
Love itself is a type of energy too, as we can categorise energy in different ways, physical energy, and mental energy, and the creative energy of God too.
God created energy to do good things for him. It is us that can choose to use energy in the wrong way to do bad things with it.

The perspective you offer on energy and sin is interesting and thought-provoking. It's beyond my capacity to engage in theological discussions or endorse specific beliefs. However, I can appreciate your emphasis on the potential for positive redirection and the importance of aligning one's actions with their values.

Thanks, yes energy is just energy, a sort of force that we all can use for either good, or bad reasons.
God created energy, including the energy of love, to be used for good.
It is us that takes this energy and tries to use it for things other than good, to hurt others with, instead of energising them more, by us loving them, from the energy of love within us.
We need to take the energy that we were going to use badly, and redirect it into a better, loving, and a good use.

Using energy to spread negativity carries the burden of suppressing our conscience.
Doing good spreads cheer around and inspires others to tread the right path.
Taking delight in the misery of others is a pastime for a few.
They should in turn do their part in helping them to lighten their burden.

Negativity is more a thought than it is anything else, and then we fuel the thought into existence by funnelling energy down the thought, misusing good energy for bad results, as a result of this.
We need to keep our energy use to be used in good thoughts, and in bringing good actions to fruition.
We should not get morbid satisfaction from treating others badly, and creating misery for others, and for the world too.

@Shiva49 Moaning, and negativity, unfortunately, can become a habit for some people.
We need to catch ourselves, and try to move away from negativity, and stay upbeat enough to help others to catch our positive enthusiastic beat too, so we do not get pulled down by others, but help to lift them up too.

@innertalks And some moan as a matter of habit that things are bad, going to be worse.
It is not easy to lift their spirits.
