A few minutes ago, I heard the water running. George seems to have gotten a nose bleed. Normally this wouldn't be a bad thing, but it is something to be concerned about. It's nothing I have to call 911 over, but since blood thinners slow the body's ability to clot I need to take it seriously. I don't want to wait until I have to call an ambulance. Wish us luck.

Good luck. Bob has always gotten nosebleeds. It was worse when he was on blood thinners, but that is what they do for strokes. Here the winter air in the house is dry from the heat and that makes it worse. Bob uses a saline gel in his nostrils and that keeps him from getting them so often.

I hope everything turned out OK. Hubs had to go to the ER when surgery for a melanoma on his face kept bleeding. He's on blood thinners too.

Yeah. I think that's fairly common for people when they get older. George seems to actually be improving on the elequis. So I'm thankful for that.
