First, I need to put a WARNING, if you are sensitive about violence, sexual violence, racial situations or speech, or language, this movie I am sure is not going to be for you. You have been warned. This is NOT a family friendly movie. Black Snake Moan was released in 2006 and stars Samuel L Jackson, Christina Ricci, and Justin Timberlake. It runs for an hour and 56 minutes and certainly deserves an R rating. The plot of the movie is a religious farmer finds a young girl left for dead on the side of the road. He takes her in to nurse her back to health and change her evil ways. The acting from Jackson and Ricci is good, for Timberlake, I can’t say the same. Overall, I would give the movie maybe 3 out of 5 stars and this is what pushes it up from 2 stars. Being a fan of Samuel L Jackson helps, the music in the movie I like a lot and well I have seen a lot worse movies.
