The apple butter / myLot

I started cooking the apple butter last week but did not have time or energy to finish it and can it. I just stored it in the refrigerator. I cooked it down a bit more, and I am bringing my waterbath canner up to boiling so I can put it all in jars and seal it. It is not a lot but it will be about 5 pints for a total cost of under $4.00. My house smells of pie spice blend, and it makes me hungry. This spread is perfectly sweet and I added no sugar at all to it. It will be a good side with several things we have to eat. I am also thawing some containers of home made beans, and lentils, that I prepared last fall or winter. Cleaning out the freezer. Hubby wanted a ham and we had a coupon. Yesterday he removed it in slices from the bone. That will be a part of our "go to" meals this weekend. Yummy. I have batter for pancakes made up. I used ripe bananas in it and that will be yummy for us to enjoy for breakfasts.

You have a lot of food items on the go there. I'm just thawing more banana cake. I still have frozen bananas to use up some other time.

That all sounds delicious. I came upon some apple butter at a seed store way out in the boonies, but I ended up getting what is in this picture. I’m wondering if I should have gotten the apple butter.
