I think that this depends on the country. And in my country all that has changed a lot in the last 50 years or so.

Maybe so. In our country, women are usually in charge of taking care of children and doing housework. Therefore, they often choose jobs with less pressure and flexible hours, even though the income is a bit low. But I also know that some countries are not like that, for example in Germany...

@tkonlinevn In my country most of the women work. The problem that we still have is that we have to take care of children and house also. There used to be maids but this is now changing too.

@marguicha What I mean is that women here still go to work while still working to take care of the family. Therefore, they choose suitable jobs rather than choosing jobs based on their interests.

That's right. However, I find that most of us try to choose careers that suit our gender strengths. Right?

Of course. Here I'm only talking about people who are adults and have freedom of choice.
