Good afternoon friends,
It's been a pretty good day here,
Courtney and I hung out some after Eli went to school. Some here on Mylot have asked about my eyes recently,my eyes are doing great, I appreciate the ask.
This community is so awesome to me.
P.S. my time away over the weekend was great.

I am so glad your eyes are doing better.
Now my son has some issue with his eye..one of them..the optometrist is sending him to a retina specialist tomorrow. It just came on of a sudden..extreme blur not able to see out of that eye.
Have a good day J.

I'm really hoping it's not a retinal detachment,an issue like that needs emergency treatment to prevent permanent vision loss.
(I learned a lot about optometry after my issue came on.) Has he had trauma to the eye recently?

@jnrdutton He has not that I know of J. I really hope it isn't something like that either. He gets intense migraines and has severe sinus issues unresolved. There are many issues to be honest. Thank you for your concern too. My hope is that they caught it in time too. I'll keep you posted.
Yes I bet you did learn a lot with your eye problems too.
What was yours?

@RebeccasFarm I've heard of migraines causing eye blur but that's usually temporary as I understand it. I'm glad it's getting evaluated.
My ultimate issue was uveitis (inflammation) which got bad enough to cause blindness in my right eye, but not PERMANENT blindness thankfully.
Getting it caught and treated saved my sight.

I am glad that your eyes are better. I went through some laser eye surgery last year that I literally sweat bullets over, but it turned out just fine, all of my worry was for nothing.

@MarieCoyle it's funny how we so often work ourselves up needlessly worrying. I'm glad your surgery went well.

I did have to have 2 separate procedures. The second one was a bit more involved and lengthy, but I do have to say it went very well. The only negative thing I can say about it is that I had a very black eye for nearly a week, but that was a small price to pay, so I wore that black eye proudly!! Thank you!

Glad your eyes are better. Last year I had an eyelash that grew in backwards and it was a burning pain. There was no damage to my eye thank goodness.

Glad there was no damage. @JESSY3236
Sounds very painful though. I've never even heard of an eye lash growing in backwards (until now.)

Thank you. My eyes are pretty much back to what was always normal for me at this point. I have an appointment again in a few weeks just to double check everything.
