Chasing Amy is a Kevin Smith movie that came out in 1997 with an R-rating. The rating is for the language, and sexual situations. It stars Ben Affleck, Joey Lauren Adams, and Jason Lee. If you know Kevin Smith's movies you know how crude they can be, and this one is no different when I come to sexual conversations. Personally, it doesn’t bother me but may bother some people. Again, this is a movie that takes me back to when I first seen it. Although I’m not a huge fan of Kevin Smith, this is one of his better movies. Of course, I am a fan of Joey Lauren Adams so that helps. In my opinion it is the second-best movie behind Clerks. The plot of the movie is about this male comic artist who falls for this lesbian which is not to the liking of his best friend. It runs through the relationship that starts as friends and turns romantic. I would give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars. If you can get past the crude sexual conversations, it might be your kind of movie.
