It has been raining all day. There was even a bit of thunder a while ago. I love the rain. Thank you Mother Nature.
One of our younger cats, Colby, has been gone for 3 days. My daughter loves her cats and she is worried. My grandson is concerned. They both are calling for him every little bit. He and Finn are both lovers of the outdoors. They have both been gone for 24 hours or so but, not this long. Out in this type of weather is worrisome.
I brought us all together earlier for a short vigil. We held hands and mentally looked upon him as being out at the front door. Holding hands and passing the energy to him if he needs it.
And what do livin' the high life-type people do when they are worried about their animals for whatever reason? They EAT! We fixed up a huge batch of strawberry shortcakes. Oh, yes. So tasty and yummy even.
Come home, dear Colbert. We miss you!

Oh no, a lost pet is so hard on those who love them. I also hope that your kitty comes home soon. And I am glad you liked your strawberry short cakes!

I hope that Colby comes back home. It is said to put a litter box outside (used) that might attract the kitty to come back, as well as a piece of clothing that belongs to whoever the kitty sits with most--an old T-shirt, a hand towel, etc.

Interesting. He did come home yesterday. We can't put such things out around here. Housing would have a fit.

Try hats too bad. I was thinking it could have set out on your porch or whatever just for overnight.

Our rain has gone away and the sun is out but this morning the temps dropped into the 50s. I always have a prayer for animals and children, I will put a prayer in for Colby to come home,

Yes, we eat to soothe ourselves. I hope Colby comes home. Do you have a jacket or shirt or some other piece of clothing of yours to put out to reassure him?
