Those Small Things That Make us Happy

I think that we all have things that make us happy. The way we go about life and the things we favor. We bring certain things home and collect things we enjoy or think are pretty. We feel good about having them near us. We enjoy watching certain things on TV and even watch those shows again and again because they mean something to us or make us feel a certain way. For me, it is Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Le Femme Nikita TV series. I get reminiscent and go back and watch them again. For me, I enjoy the "slayer slang" in Buffy. It makes me smile every time. I also enjoy the comradery of the gang and the way they stick up for each other. Their logic slays me. Just a group of dorkey kids saving the world. I can't believe the guy who developed all that world was such a jerk. And then there is Angel. He is sort of an enigma. Mysterious, puzzling, and, hard to understand. That pretty much sums Angel up. Plus, he's a hero. Gotta love those. It's just good fun and it's not like he is killing someone human that would mean something. I like the storyline and how it works out. Oh, and Nikita. La Femme Nikita is like the romance stories of the olden days. They never get to be together. Something always happens. So typical. Nikita begins as a damsel in distress and ends up as a feisty, strong, and independent woman who can get it done and take care of herself. She is fearless and like someone I would like to be. Good-hearted but strong and has a take care of it attitude. Last night I found "Charmed" on PlutoTV. That series started in 1998 and lasted 'til 2006. The app only has the first four seasons and there are 7. I watched three or four episodes. They were a cute trio and the series was interesting. The newer remake that started in 2018 was a real dog and I was sure disappointed. Do you have a favorite show that you like to rewatch occasionally?
