Day 126 – Blessing Numbers 6:22 JEHOVAH spoke to Moses, saying, 23 “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you will bless the children of Israel. Say to them: 24 JEHOVAH bless you and keep you; 25 JEHOVAH make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; 26 JEHOVAH lift His countenance upon you and give you peace.’ 27 “So they will put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.” God’s names: JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal God’s character: Blesser Everyone wants to see their children and families succeed in life. They will do whatever they can to curry favor from those who can give favor. JEHOVAH wanted to bless His children. The only way for them to receive His blessings was for them to bless each other with JEHOVAH’S blessings on their lives. When they invoked His blessings, JEHOVAH promised to bless them. It is such a simple formula JEHOVAH gave His people so they could receive His blessing that those who claim Him and His Son as their Lord and Savior, forget to bless each other with JEHOVAH’S blessing. The only time they remember is when their pastor or teacher gives a teaching on JEHOVAH’S blessing. Then they will bless their children and family members. But it’s a one-time deal. When they walk out of church, they forget they need to continue to bless each other with JEHOVAH’S blessings on their lives. When was the last time you prayed this prayer of blessing over your children, spouse, loved ones, and friends? It’s time to stop expecting JEHOVAH to bless you when you don’t bless others. Commit today to pray this blessing over everyone you know and love. Let them know you pray for them and want JEHOVAH’S best for them. It begins with a simple prayer of blessing JEHOVAH gave His people to bless each other. Let’s pray: Father, I commit today to pray Your prayer of blessing over my loved ones and everyone I know.
