Yesterday my granddaughter and her BF invited me to dinner out. We finally went to MY Chinese restaurant, the best in town according to my taste. On the way back, both thanked me for the tip. we talked about Chinese restaurants but many that used to be wonderful years ago, were sold by their first owners and they are now almost fast food ethnic restaurants. I got in after dinner, reached my bed and fell asleep after turning on the heater. I opened my eyes much later to turn off the gas heater and put on my PJs. I think something had to do with a wonderful drink I had there. We had some appetizers but I´m not used now to strong drinks before I eat. I ordered a main dish of sweet and sour pork with pineapple. Carolina eat one of my favorite dishes: flambeed eggplants. This morning, a while after waking up, María called me and invited me for tomorrow. I´ll spend the whole day there and Marco will come to pick me up. so I´ll have an awesome weekend in spite of the cold and the rain. Today I will stay in bed as much as I can. There is flu going around and somewhere around the south, several people died in 2 or 3 days. According to the authorities, none of them had been vaccinated against flu. I confess I haven´t done it yet either although I can get the vaccine for free 4 blocks away of my house. I´ll do it next week, I promise. What will you do this weekend?
