A while back I wrote about a site called Online Book Club, where people can review books. At first I joined because it said something about being paid for reading books, but I have yet to figure out how that happens or works.
I read a book by the owner of the site, called In it Together, which was stupid and terrible in too many ways to count.
Anyway, I got and email from them saying they had another book to review, and I went to check it out, for some dumb reason.
The book is called The Haunting of Towne Point Mall. Like a dummy, I didn't read the description before I bought the book--which includes "Horror".
I don't like horror stories, what was I thinking!?!?
Sigh. Well, the book is coming in the mail, I'll read it and try to focus on the characters and whatall instead of any grossness, then review it on the Online Book Club site, either good or bad.
Why do I do this to myself....just why...

I have no idea how much they pay. I've never been paid yet. Like I said in the beginning of my post,

I can relate to what you are saying since I get in trouble by not reading articles on the site before answering a question on the site.

You should always read the description . I have done that before to. Bought something without reading the description.

Yes, I know--which is why I can't figure out why I didn't before I bought it this time.

There used to be a book review website YEARS ago where I got paid per review. I madee pretty good money reading and reviewing things for them. But I think they over paid people, because they went under and I never heard from them again.
