I was watching an anime called Naruto Shippuden. It's basically an anime that depicts a life of a ninja in a ninja world.
I heard one character ninja teacher say this to his ninja students, "Those who break the rules are scums, but those who abandon their comrades are far worse than scums."
I wonder if this saying applies also to the army world. If it does, is it a good or a bad saying?

My elder daughter is crazy about Naruto. I think it's a very popular anime.
I come from a family where many are in Defence services. There is a popular saying that " No man should be left behind". I think that's the spirit to work as a team.

I'm sure your daughter and I would get along when in comes to talking about Naruto.
Now that I think about it, "No man should be left behind" is actually the shorter version of "Those who break the rules are scums, but those who abandon their comrades are far worse than scums."

@HaruLoid Yes, it's basically the same. The words are just being used in a different way.
I am sure that you two can connect well on Naruto. Few of her friends are also big fan of that.
