The first one this year. I did laps for about an hour, though at one point I had to get out for 20 minutes while a guy put chemicals in the pool, then wait until they did what they did. It was really nice--I had the pool to myself the whole time. Of course, it's not Summer vacation yet, so I'll enjoy it while I can. It was really relaxing, too--and good exercise. I hope to be able to do it again, soon. Like I said to someone I was texting with, swimming is the only "sport" I enjoy, much less take part in.

I do enjoy dipping into the pool or going to the beach when there aren't much people around.

Swimming inside of a swimming pool is like playing golf and bowling. Excellent for keeping a body in good shape.

I am glad you enjoyed it! I'm waiting for next month when I'll be at my daughter's babysitting for the weekend. That will be our afternoon fun!

That's the one thing I miss about living in an apartment. Having access to a swimming pool. We talked about putting a pool in our back yard, but it wouldn't have been a very big one and cost almost as much as we paid for the house. So, we decided against it.

Yeah, I imagine that could be pretty expensive!
