Another Downpour of Rain

You might think this is just another negative post, written by Kharla! Nope. It's not a negative discussion, instead it's positive:) I'm sick of living in the trenches!
Yes, it rained hard last night, but I've decided to let nature take its course. If it rains, so be it. If it doesn't rain, that's great, also. I'll just buy myself a pair of wading boots!
God never changes. If he wants us in a new home by fall, the Lord will make a way, where there seems to be no way. I'm all finished complaining about standing water, inside the construction hole.
I'll start thinking about the 4th of July. I'll buy myself some sparklers to wave around in the air! We won't actually celebrate, but it is a festive occasion that our country celebrates each year. And the sky will be filled with beautiful lights!
My focus, is changing. Doom and gloom can go fly a kite! Instead, I'll enjoy each day as it comes. Treat it as a fresh opportunity to live, breathe and be transformed into a happy lady.
Depression almost killed me. This mindset robbed me of everything good experience, that God has blessed me with. He couldn't get a word in edgewise!
No more of that, I have declared war against negative thoughts

Sending positive vibes your way, I have one question so that your foundation can be started on to get all that water away quicker can a sump pump help?

Yes, a sump pump would work good, but we have nowhere to release that water. No ditches and no connection to city sewer. Once our home is on this lot, city sewer will be connected.

I bet there will be a lot of dry time to get quite a bit done. Three more months and this before the cold sets in again. Your positive approach and faith in the Almighty will help get a lot done. Good orgination always helps too.

Negative thoughts drag a person into the pit of despair.

Depression is a bad habit, that takes over a person's thought patterns.

According to the video messages on You Tube, when all of us go through a crisis like you are going through, it is His way to teach us to be patient and believe that something better is in store for us in the future.

@kobesbuddy You are welcome since I do tune to the You Tube channel that shares God's message via a narrator.

George, you are absolutely correct! When God teaches us to be patient, it's a difficult lesson to learn! Thankyou, for your very helpful reminder:) xoxo

We cannot choose what happens, only how we respond. I shared a meme from someone else a while back, it said "Misery loves company, but Joy throws a better party." Party on Kharla and find your Joy.

It's wonderful to hear your positive outlook, Kharla! Embracing nature's course and trusting in God's plan can bring so much peace and hope. The 4th of July sounds like a perfect opportunity to celebrate life and freedom. Your determination to combat negative thoughts is inspiring—keep focusing on the good and living each day to the fullest!

Rain can suck, but I don't mind it. Sure, things slow down. Oh well. Could be a lot worse. That house will be built. Perhaps this is God's way of making sure you're good and ready.

It's a good habit I'm trying to establish, replace the bad habit of negativity.

I used to be a chronic worrier. Depression has plagued me, for many years. Anxiety is a result of over thinking. My mind is usually working in high gear, it doesn't slow down.
