Rain Dance Time

We have about 4 fans going upstairs continually now. They will be going probably until sometime between late September and mid-October. Once the weather gets up about 80 it gets more and more uncomfortable for me. My grandson's room is worse heat-wise because his computer puts off a lot of heat. My daughter is downstairs most of the day and it is cooler down there. I don't go downstairs and haven't for several years. So I think we should begin to utilize our backyard and start doing some rain dances. A good rainstorm with full-on thunder and lightning once a week would be great. We still have the 90's and 100s to through yet.

Using fans and hoping for rain sounds like a good plan. Have you thought about any other ways to keep cool during the hot weather?

@celticeagle Those are great ideas! Cool baths and showers can definitely help, and cotton fabrics are perfect for staying comfortable. Maybe enjoying some cold drinks or ice pops could add to the relief too!

I'm already doing the rain dance here and for others . . . will do some steps for you too . Yep - for most of us it's going to be hotter before it gets way cooler (or wetter) again.

Watch where you're aiming your rain dances! It was build an arc time here yesterday... rain barrels were overflowing and my basement has several ponds now.

I hope you get some cooling rain, In my workroom where I have my PC and laptop I have the AC and a small fan going constantly, Florida will have hot humid weather all summer. If you don't mind why don't you go downstairs? I mean to leave the house you have to go downstairs, don't you?
