26 TV Shows you should watch #3

Bet you didn't think I'd be back so soon with another installment of this series. But I am trying to stay on top of this series and I am determined to get it done. So seeing as this is Numero tres. C is for Cheers. I know a lot of you will be surprised that I watched Cheers or even knew what it was. It was well before my time, but thanks to the Way back machine known as Nick at Night I watched a lot of Cheers. Plus who doesn't love Woody Harrelson?!? If you are unfamiliar with the show Cheers, where were you in the eighties? The show centered around a Bar (where everybody knew your name) and the bar owner, tender and the regular patrons of he bar. Other show starts were John Ratzenburg, Kirstie Alley and Ted Danson. I was probably way too young to be watching it when I did. But there was only so much Ed, Ed and Eddy I could watch. Plus it was funny. If you need a good laugh, and like eighties sitcoms. Cheers is a good one to watch. I don't remember them dealing with anything real important. But then again I was in grade school and middle school when I watched it every night. It was also the precursor to Frasier with Kelsey Grammar playing Fraiser before his move to Seattle to host his radio show. I was a little surprised to find out that the show ran from 1982 until 1993. I guess I didn't realize that there was that much of the show. They also have recently rebooted it. I've seen some clips but haven't watched a full episode of it. Although Kelsey Grammar is good in just about everything I have seen him in. So check it out, or don't. But it is for sure a show that is worth at least a couple episodes. Here's a trailer/clip of it so in case you have never heard of it- you can get a better idea of it. Have you ever watched it?

I watched a few episodes when it was on, if I was visiting someone. It wasn't on CBC and that's the only channel I got But recently, I've seen many episodes. I watched the final 3 seasons leading up to Frasier. Now Frasier we watch endlessly. It's ridiculous how much we watch Frasier

@thislittlepennyearns We watched a couple episodes of the re-boot. We didn't really get into it. A lot of shows are the same, I just never paid for cable and really only had one channel while raising my kids. No arguing about what to watch

I forget that shows in Canada are probably different than here. I didn't like Fraiser for a long time, but the older I get the more I appreciate it. Have you watched the reboot?

We watched this a few times - enough to know what you're talking about. But we've never been great TV fans and didn't have it at all for years because there was no reception where we were.

@thislittlepennyearns Because I watch so few of them, I really have no idea. I'll try to work it out. I know the Brits used to see Neighbours a few seasons behind us but that was years ago.

This may be a stupid question, but the shows here, are they aired at the same time there? Like the current season of Grey's Anatomy here, is it broadcast there the same time, or are you a season or two behind?

Cheers was definitely a favorite show in my house. The cast was great and I can still hear everyone yelling "Norm" when he walked in.
