Bunnies have benefits

As a child I liked funny looking animals. Pigs, Ducks and Bunnies led the pack. With time however, my liking for piglets and ducks went down. I began liking bunnies even more. Apart from their funny looks, I discovered their meat is very soft and sweet. Again, their urine is sold at a very high price, though I haven’t been sure what it is used for. Rumour has it that the urine is of medicinal value. The droppings are very good for a kitchen garden. Then, one of my bunnies began behaving very funnily. I decided to cage it up and let people see it at a cost. I really want to have as many bunnies as possible.

@SIDIKIMPOLE Okay. So they are confined to a hutch. That makes it simpler.

It is very easy. Because bunnies usually use one place for urination. So once you identify the spot, you put a container below the hutch. That is it

Yes, rabbit urine has medicinal value, and we have a traditional Chinese medicine made from rabbit feces here.I have tried rabbit meat before, but it is not popular here. However, in some parts of our country, there is a habit of eating rabbit meat. I think chicken is more delicious than rabbit meat. The rabbit meat they eat is specially bred for meat consumption, not pet rabbits.

@sabtraversa This is quite interesting. But I haven't yet reared Guinea Pigs. I only reared Guinea Fowls. They are quite stubborn birds.

Thank you, for real bunnies are very good and friendly. But they can easily bite you if provoked,

I like bunnies because they are so cute. We got one for our kids as a pet. It started biting the kids so we had to give it to Lollipop Farm to rehome with other rabbits. I especially like ducks. I had one as a pet when I was a kid. A big truck went past our house. A newly hatched duckling fell out and ran right to me. She was a great pet. I named her Lucky.

@SIDIKIMPOLE That was when I was a kid. Lucky is long gone because ducks don't live as long as people do. We loved her when she was there. She was a character. She used to pick fights with a little red rooster where we lived once. She would also steal food from the dog. Lovable Lucky.
