Walking towards the Double rainbow... / myLot

Good evening mylotters... Hope that you all are in good spirits in your myLot corner.

. It has been a while since I dropped in here to post a discussion. I have something interesting to share each day but then it doesn't happen

. But before this one too goes out of my mind, I want to make a sweet short discussion about the beauty that I witnessed a while ago.

The weather is pleasant here. We are getting oue regular rains in just the right amount every day. And everything has turned so gorgeous around.

I was busy with my therapy sessions when I heard the raindrops on my window panes and terrace roof. It rained for almost two hours. And as soon as it stopped, I walked out to get something from the nearby mall. I needed them for the school tomorrow and could not rely on the home delivery. And glad I did

. I spotted this double rainbow behind the tall skyscraper building adjacent to the mall. Oh! It was gorgeous!! I tried to capture it on my phone as many others were doing too. I don't think that this picture has done enough justice to it. I hope that you can see the double rainbow. I wish that my daughters could see it too. I called them and asked to come to terrace to ses it. But by then it had started fading away Well, that's all for now. I have to go to kitchen now to start with the dinner. I will see you later

We had a bad summer this year in March and April, unusually high temperatures for Bangalore's standard and water crisis. But from May, we are getting enough rain and glad that Bangalore is back to it's own pleasant weather mode.

I hope that you get some good rain and some relief from this bad heat. Glad that you liked this rainbow. It was prettier in real

Glad that you could see the other one too. Double rainbows are very rare. It was prettier in real.

This was my third time that I witnessed it in the last few years. I had made another one post few years back. That was more vivid in colour when I saw and captured it. I have seen all the three times in Bangalore. I saw none for four decades of my life. But some beautiful rainbows during my childhood has left vivid memories. Sporting a rainbow was common then.
